Bill:

Here's one for you...

Although I related this to the Israel family on Sunday AM, here is my story:

While our family was touring in Washington State in August 1992, we spent a
few days at the Paradise Lodge, on the flank of Mount Rainier.  On our first
evening there, Ruthie and I entered the dining room at the lodge, and looked
for a place to sit for dinner.  Immediately, we saw Dick and Sherry,  already
seated at a nearby table!  They invited us to join them.

We spent few minutes comparing notes on our respective trips, and marveling at
the coincidence of meeting each other on the other side of the U.S., waiting
in a lodge for the fog to break on the mountain (it didn't!).  Then, Dick made
an observation that I'll never forget:

"This just goes to show.......you shouldn't have an affair, or go anywhere in
public with someone you're not supposed to be with.  Even in a National Park,
3,000 miles away from where you live, you're bound to be seen by someone who
knows you!"

Since that chance(?) meeting, I've run into many local friends and
acquaintances during my summer travels.  I'm happy to report that I've been
with the right people -- my wife Ruthie and family -- each time!
